A NOTE FROM TIM
Let me start by saying thank you for visiting The Aperio website and for taking the time to get to know us.
Some time ago, through no effort of my own, my heart was awakened to a passionate work, a calling . . . leadership.
Since then, I’ve been blessed with innumerable opportunities to learn, grow, and share. My enthusiasm and interest in leadership was born in 1999. I’ve traveled thousands upon thousands of miles interviewing and coaching leaders. I’ve had the good fortune of a front row seat to some amazing leadership research. And I’ve had the privilege of sharing my leadership learnings and observations in both private and public forums. Through the years of this work—with all of its data, examples, debates, books, and blogs—my passion for leadership has only grown.
One of the great joys of this work is the opportunity to partner with supremely talented, smart, leader-development professionals. As the saying goes, two heads are, indeed, better than one. And I’ve found that 10 are better than two as well. Our clients benefit from the close connections shared by those who work under The Aperio banner. From all over the United States, we come together to assist our clients by matching the right professionals with the right organizations and individuals.
On a personal note, I would be remiss to say leadership is the only topic that gets my attention. I have a background in collegiate athletics and love what is best about that very unique world. I am blessed to have a beautiful wife who is a true partner with me in the fight to have a great marriage. I have two sons and two daughters who give me the privilege of playing one of the greatest leadership roles I could ever hope to have, that of being a father. And I have a faith that, because of its object, provides direction and security in life.
